Nepali school girl

We support the American Himalayan Foundation to help educate the children of Nepal.

The American Himalayan Foundation

Through her expeditions to Everest, Susan Ershler became aware of the needs of young girls in Nepal, where prostitution trafficking is all too common and funds for education and health expenses are scarce. We give a portion of every keynote presentation to the American Himalayan Foundation’s Stop Girl Trafficking program which sponsors over 7,000 girls in Himalayan schools each year.

This program empowers girls and young women to live their dreams of becoming teachers, social workers and valued members of their communities.

Upwards of 20,000 girlsfrom the poorest parts of Nepal are trafficked every year, you can help. Click here to learn more »

Climbers ages 8 to 82 to climb tallest building west of Mississippi for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society — The Columbia Center building in Seattle is 69 stories tall with 1311 stairs and 788 feet of vertical elevation gain.

More than 747,000 Americans have leukemia, myeloma or lymphoma, the most common form of blood cancer. Among children under 20, leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer.

We were honored to serve as the honorary co-chairs for the 2007 Leukemia Lymphoma Society's Big Climb. Over 4,000 heroes climbed the 1,311 stairs!
